The daily challenge
- Press play and watch the first ten seconds of a silent Expert guitar chart.
- Search by song, artist or game, then submit a guess.
- Every miss buys five more seconds of chart.
- Six attempts in total, and only the exact song counts.
Read the clues
Each guess is weighed against the answer on four fields. Song, Artist, Game and Tier. A field that matches turns green and stays green for the rest of the board. A guess that shares an artist with the answer turns the Artist field yellow. A miss on Game or Tier keeps the value you guessed and points which way the answer lies, newer or older, higher or lower.
Know the chart
Every chart is the Expert guitar part from one of the eleven Guitar Hero discs, on-disc songs only and no DLC. Strums, hammer-ons, pull-offs, taps and sustains are drawn the way the game drew them, which is the point. You are reading the pattern you played.
